The African Union Ministerial Committee on Counter-Terrorism (AUMCCT) established to facilitate timely and efficient responses to persistent threats and acts of terrorism and violent extremism in Africa. The committee was established following the Malabo Declaration and Decisions, which called for a high-level coordination, monitoring, and evaluation mechanism for the implementation of the AU's Counter-Terrorism activities and prevention plan.
