Memorandum on Staff Rules

Abstract

In the section of Memorandum on staff rules new articles in the rules namely establishment of a staff category called "Technical Staff" and creation of an OAU International Civil Service were noted. Also among important topics raised in the section of OAU Staff Regulations were general provisions, duties, obligations and privileges of staff members, recruitment, appointment and promotion, salaries and allowances, annual, special and home leave, social security, travel expenses and miscellaneous provisions.
