dc.description.abstractThe problem of refugees in Africa becomes a situation which needs a serious attention by all member states. Some of the possible reasons for refugees are political stability, security, economic development, unemployment etc… Refugees can be from one independent African States to another, from non-independent territories or those under foreign minority regimes and freedom fighters and political activists. The report also discussed principal needs of refugees, what the OAU has done so far and what it should do concerning refugees and their welfare with regard to granting asylum and in making arrangements for their settlement. Furthermore, it urges to create Education Fund which shall be administered by the Bureau for Refugees in accordance with the OAU Education Programs.en
