This is the second Ministerial meeting of the African Union (AU) Specialized Technical Committee (STC) on gender equality and women’s empowerment that was held in Addis Ababa from 07 - 08 December 2017 at the AU Headquarters of the African Union which urged Members States to continue addressing the root causes of gender inequalities in Africa.
