| dc.description.abstract | Despite several attempts to increase efficiency ,African Union (AU) has poor implementation rates for Policy Organs Decisions. The Commission, in partnership with the PRC, was requested to improve the monitoring and assessment systems for these decisions. A follow-up matrix was created to better identify difficulties influencing implementation and duty allocation. The Commission provided a status report on the implementation of AU Policy Organs Decisions between 2011 and 2020, which resulted in the Dakar Recommendations. A roadmap was created in March 2023, and by November 2023, 31% of the tasks had been completed. | en |
