Report of the Twenty-Fourth Ordinary Session of the OAU Permanent Steering Committee

Abstract

This report details the proceedings of the twenty-fourth and twenty-fifth ordinary sessions of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) Permanent Steering Committee held in October 1992 and April 1993, respectively. The sessions focused on advancing regional integration and cooperation through the review and adoption of key protocols, including those concerning the relations between the African Economic Community (AEC) and Regional Economic Communities (RECs), the free movement of persons, rights of residence, transport and communications.
