Peace and Security Department
This collection contains documents held at the Peace and Security Department.
The mandate of the Peace and Security Department (PSD) is to support the Peace and Security Council (PSC) in carrying out its responsibilities as provided for under the protocol relating to the establishment of the AU Peace and Security Council. The other aspect of the mandate of the PSD is to support the efforts of the Commission, which are aimed at supporting the promotion of peace, security and stability on the African continent. This collections will be of interest to all our stakeholders, partners, policy makers, researchers as well as all those interested in the areas of peace, security and stability in the African continent.
The collection is managed by Documentalists Terence Odongo (Odongot@africa-union.org) and Ivan Majoro (MajoroI@africa-union.org) from PSD.
