As distinguished delegates are aware, the CCT A, with which your Council is in active co-operation, wiii become an organ of the OAU with effect from I January I965, following the adoption by the Heads of State of African countries of a proposal drawn up by the Acting Secretary-General of the CCTA and the provisional Secretary-General of the OAU.
