Report of the Commission on the Implementation of Previous Decisions of the Executive Council and the Assembly January and July 2019

Abstract

This is a report on monitoring and implementation of Policies and Decisions taken by the African Union organs. it is a synopsis of measures taken by all the organs of the Union and Member States to implement the various Decisions and Declarations adopted during the period under review ie. January to December 2019. It states that Reporting on the implementation of previous decisions of the Assembly and the Executive Council should be a mandatory feature on the agenda of the PRC and Executive Council during their Ordinary Sessions as it constitutes an effective mechanism that ensures that there is a follow up on decisions taken.
