This communiqué welcomes the diplomatic rapprochement between the Governments of the United States of America and Sudan on the recent announcements of exchange of Ambassadors by the two countries for the first time in 23 year . In this regard,the communiqué welcomes the commitment by the USA to continue providing financial assistance towards the recovery and development of Sudan.
