Convening of a Second International Conference on African Refugees to be Held in 1983 (Proposed by Sudan)

Abstract

This note verbal presents the request of the Democratic Republic of Sudan to the General Secretariat of the OAU to incorporate in the agenda of the forthcoming Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers, a proposal on convening of a Second International Conference of African Refugees, to be held in 1983 and reviews and assess the results of the First Conference held in Geneva in 1981 to keep the momentum to help the African Refugees and awareness of their plight.
