This report presents the request of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and the Arab Republic of Egypt to host the OAU Office of Inter-African Bureau for Research on Tropical Forests, which was established upon the adoption of resolution CM/Res.592(XXIX) by the Council of Ministers in its Twenty-Ninth Ordinary Session, in Libreville, Gabon from 23 June- 3 July 1977
