Abstract

This is a report on proceedings of the Regional Inter-Governmental Preparatory Meeting for the World Conference to Review and Appraise the Achievements of the United Nations Decade for Women, held in Arusha, Tanzania, from 8 to 12 October 1984, to examine the agenda items of the Nairobi World Women Conference in order to harmonize the African position on issues of common interest to Africa.
