A report by the Secretary-General on the proceedings of the Fourth Conference of African Ministers of Social Affairs held in Addis Ababa, from 25 to 26 March 1985, to review the social trends and major social development problems in Africa and to consider the social consequences of the current African economic and social crisis and the devastating drought.
