African Integration report monitors the progress of the African Union Commission and the RECs on the implementation of the African integration agenda. Regional integration has been a key economic and political ambition in Africa during the formation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) in 1963 where by the barriers brought about by the colonial borders where broken down to create a shared experience of what it is to be African continent.
