At its 39th and 40th Ordinary Sessions held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 14-15 October 2021 and 02-03 February 2022, the Executive Council adopted Decisions EX.CL/1139(XXXIX) and EX.CL/1163(XL) on a set of African candidatures interested in any position in the international system.
