Report of the 4th ordinary session of the STC on Transport, Transcontinental and Interregional Infrastructure & Energy (STC-TTIIE)

Abstract

The Ministers’ Meeting of the Fourth Ordinary Session of the Specialised Technical Committee on Transport, Transcontinental and Interregional Infrastructure, and Energy (STC-TTIIE) was held in Zanzibar, Tanzania on 15th September 2023. The meeting highlighted the importance of infrastructure and energy for socio-economic development, growth, and expansion, contributing to the achievement of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and enabling African Island States like Zanzibar to integrate with other AU Member States through trade and efficient infrastructure services.
