      Abstract
H.E. Julius Maada BIO, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, and Chairperson of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM Forum) welcomed the efforts of the APRM Continental Secretariat in enhancing the monitoring and evaluation capacities African Union (AU) member states for Agenda 2063 and Agenda 2030 through initiatives like Voluntary National Reporting (VNRs), Continental Workshops, National Development Planning Community of Practices, and peer-learning activities. These efforts aim to prepare countries for participation in the High-Level Political Forum at the United Nations. H.E. Julius Maada Bio commended the APRM Continental Secretariat for its partnership with the United Nations and its organs working within the framework of AU-UN collaboration for the implementation of Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2063. This collaboration underscores the commitment to mutual cooperation and coordination between the AU and the UN in advancing sustainable development goals and the African development agenda.
