Progress report on the Implementation of the Roadmap of the African Union theme of the Year for 2024 on Education

Abstract

In February 2024, the African Union's Assembly of Heads of States adopted a decision endorsing the concept note and roadmap for the year's theme focused on education (Assembly/AU/Dec.879(XXXVII)). This report is prepared in line with paragraph 8 of the decision, which requires the African Union Commission to provide updates on the implementation of the roadmap at the upcoming mid-year summit and to deliver a final report during the 45th session of the Executive Council in February 2025.
