The forty-ninth ordinary session of the Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity convened in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from February 20 to 25, 1999. During this session, the Council reviewed the Secretary-General's report on the Middle East situation, as outlined in Document CM/1527 (XLIX), and adopted Resolution CM/Res.1182 (XLIX).
