AT A GLANCE KAMPALA CAADP DECLARATION ON BUILDING RESILIENT AND SUSTAINABLE AGRIFOOD SYSTEMS IN AFRICA

Abstract

The Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) Strategy and Action Plan (2026-2035) was adopted by an Extraordinary Summit of the African Union (AU) held in Kampala, Uganda, in January 2025. The Kampala CAADP Declaration on "Building Resilient Agrifood Systems in Africa" outlines a 10-year plan to transform Africa's agrifood systems.
