This report details the African refugee and displaced persons situation during the review period, highlighting the Commission's efforts to find lasting solutions. Despite global positive shifts, Africa faced a grim reality of escalating population displacement due to civil strife, inter-state conflicts, and the persistent challenges of drought and famine, particularly in the Horn of Africa and Sudan.
