Report of the Secretary General on the Special Emergency Assistance Fund for Drought and Famine in Africa

Abstract

This report details the OAU Secretariat's efforts to implement recommendations from the Tenth Ordinary Session of the Policy Committee of the Special Emergency Assistance Fund for Drought and Famine in Africa. These recommendations, made in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from June 21-22, 1990, were subsequently endorsed by the Fifty-Second Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers in its resolution CM/Res 1289 (LII), passed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from July 3-8, 1990.
