Report of the Twelfth Ordinary Session of the Policy Committee of the Special Emergency Assistance Fund for Drought and Famine in Africa

Abstract

The Twelfth Ordinary Session of the Policy Committee of the Special Emergency Assistance Fund for Drought and Famine in Africa convened in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from May 16-17, 1991. Chaired by H.E. Mr. Swaib M. Musoke, Ambassador of Uganda, in the absence of H.E. Ambassador Kemoko Keita of Guinea, the meeting addressed the critical financial state of the Fund. Durin the meeting Ambassador Musoke emphasized the urgent need to bolster the Fund's replenishment campaign to ensure its continued operations.
