Report on the Mission of the OAU Monitoring team to South Africa 10-19 May, 1992

Abstract

This report to the Council of Ministers detailing the findings and recommendations of the OAU Monitoring Team dispatched to South Africa. Formed following the 8th Session of the OAU Ad Hoc Committee on Southern Africa in Arusha on April 28, 1992, the team's primary objective was to assess the escalating violence and invigorate the negotiation process within South Africa.
