Statement of Arrears of Contributions to the Regular Budgets of the Organization of African Unity as at 31st May 1992

Abstract

This report highlights the urgent issue of overdue contributions to the OAU's regular budgets, a problem that poses a direct threat to the organization's sustainability. Over the past five years, both the Advisory Committee and the Council of Ministers have expressed growing concern over the rising debt from unpaid contributions from MemberStates , which significantly undermines the approved budget and the organization's overall functioning.
