Report of the Secretary-General on the Deliberations of the Sixteenth Session of the OAU Labour Commission

Abstract

This report outline the proceedings of the 16th ordinary session of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) Labour Commission held in Cairo, Egypt, from April 19 to 25, 1993. The session comprised of an experts meeting followed by a ministerial meeting. The experts meeting, for the first time, addressed a broad spectrum of labor and social issues, including those previously managed by the Conference of African Ministers of Social Affairs.
