Abstract

This report summarizes the deliberations and outcomes of the 16th Ordinary Session of the OAU Labour Commission, which convened in Cairo, Egypt, from April 19-25, 1993. This session also marked the 30th anniversary of the African Labour Ministers' forum, and it addressed a broad spectrum of labor and social issues, notably including the socio-economic aspects of the African Economic Community
