This report documents the final session of the sixty-first ordinary meeting of the OAU coordinating committee for the liberation of Africa, held in Tunis, Tunisia, on June 4–5, 1994. It marked the successful conclusion of a mission initiated in 1963 to decolonize Africa and end apartheid, culminating in South Africa’s transition to a non-racial democracy and the election of Nelson Mandela.
