This report presents a request from the African Iron and Steel Association (AISA) for observer status with the Organization of African Unity (OAU) in 1995. Founded in 1991, AISA is a non-profit organization based in Abuja, Nigeria, dedicated to promoting cooperation and technological exchange within Africa's iron and steel industry. The Association's core mission is to address the continent's industrial underdevelopment by fostering regional collaboration among member states and facilitating the exchange of expertise, documentation, and training.
