This report reviews the situation of refugees, returnees and internally displaced persons in Africa from February to June 1995 and summarizes the activities of the OAU Commission of Twenty on Refugees during that period. Major events included the Commission’s participation in the Regional Conference on Assistance to Refugees, Returnees and Displaced Persons in the Great Lakes Region (Bujumbura, 15–17 February 1995) and attendance at related follow-up and OAU/ICRC meetings.
