Abstract

This report provides an overview of the Africa CDC's work during the first and second half of 2025, which is divided into four Sections. Section I provides an update on the MPOX and Malburg outbreaks. Section II provides an update on the Africa CDC's operationalization status. Section III discusses Africa CDC's achievement in implementing its mandate. Section IV discusses Partnerships and collaborations for improved public health in Africa.
