Draft Agenda As at 09th June 2025

Abstract

This document presents the draft agenda for the forty-seventh ordinary session of the Executive Council of the African Union, that took place from 10 to 11 July 2025 in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. The agenda included both open and closed sessions, beginning with an opening ceremony featuring statements from key dignitaries. The closed session covered critical items such as the adoption of the agenda, consideration of reports from the Permanent Representatives’ Committee (PRC), various ministerial committees, progress on treaty ratification, elections, appointments to AU organs, including Commissioners, members of the African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption (AUABC), and the Panel of the Wise.
