Declaration: 7th mid-year coordination meeting between the African Union, the regional economic communities and the regional mechanisms 13th July 2025, Malabo, Equatorial Guinea

Abstract

The Seventh Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union, convened on 13 July 2025 in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, brought together Heads of State and Government representing the Bureau of the Assembly, along with Chairpersons of the eight Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and Regional Mechanisms (RMs). The meeting underscored the need to advance deeper continental integration and collective prosperity, drawing on the findings of the 2025 Africa Regional Integration report.
