Report of the commission on the alignment of the legal instruments

Abstract

The Assembly of the African Union in its extraordinary session held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 17 -18, 2018, have issued a number of decisions, one of which relates to the Institutional reform of the African Union. In its decision the Assembly had requested that the Commission to align all relevant legal instruments in line with Assembly decisions Ext/Assembly/AU/Dec.1(XI) and Ext/Assembly/AU/Dec.3(XI) by February 2019.
