Follow up on the establishment of the African Migration Observatory in Morocco, Item proposed by the Kingdom of Morocco

Abstract

The Decision of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (Assembly/AU/Dec.695 (XXXI) to establish, in Morocco, an African Migration Observatory, as an AU organ, addresses the real and pressing need of Africa to generate a better knowledge, understanding and expertise of the migratory phenomenon.
