It is a draft recommendation of the ad hoc Commission on the Algeria-Morocco Border Dispute which was set up by the Council of the Organization of African Unity during its first extraordinary session held in Addis Ababa from 15 to 18 November 1963. It urges to consider the objectives of Bamako Agreement of 30 October, 1963 where both countries were part of it and the principles of the Charter of the Organization of African Unity where members have committed to settle their disputes by peaceful means. The commission also clearly identified the territory over which the conflict arose and reminded to take into account various international treaties and agreements in this regard. Finally it recommended the setting up of a joint Algero-Moroccan Commission to find the solution and indicated that the ad hoc commission will be at the disposal of the Joint Commission.
