Report of the Committee of Five (on Rhodesia) to the Eleventh Session of the Council of Ministers

Abstract

This report elaborates the situations in Zimbabwe focusing on the period February to June 1968 that witnessed unprecedented armed clashes between the African nationalists and the rebel forces. It also discussed the threatening scenarios of the Ian Smith's regime to neighbouring African States, particularly Zambia which bore the full brunt of economic and other consequences of the Rhodesian rebellion.
