Abstract
The Commissioner for Peace and Security of theAfrican Union, H.E. Ambassador Smail Chergui of the African Union Commission, leading an inter-departmentaldelegation of the Commission, met today in Russia-Moscow with the Minister of ForeignAffairs of the Russian Federation, H.E. Mr. Sergey Lavrov. During his visit, Ambassador Chergui held consultations with Mr. Mikhail L.Bogdanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Special Representative of thePresident of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and African countries.
