Both the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the African Union (AU) do not condone unconstitutional changes of government. The report gives an account of the efforts made by ECOWAS, with the support of AU and the United Nations (UN), to resolve the crises in Cote d’Ivoire.
