This report explains the push of the armed groups towards the South and the subsequent Franco Malian operation, which has helped to put to an end to the initiate process for the liberation of the North, which has led to the acceleration of the deployment of AFISMA Mission and adoption of other measures in the liberation of the major cities of the North by the Malian army and the French forces which were striving to secure this part of the country.
