Abstract

During this workshop, the participants stressed the need for continued and sustained efforts by the AU Member States ,AU Commission, the RECs and other stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of the African Border Programm, which provides a framework for addressing border issues, both with respect to delimitation and demarcation cross-border cooperation, with the overall objective of contributing to the prevention of conflicts and the promotion of integration.
