This is a repot of the 10th meeting of the African Continental Free Trade Area AU Ministers of Trade (AMOT) which was held on 14th December 2019, at the Accra International Conference Centre, Ghana. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the Report of the 10th meeting of the Senior Trade Official (STO), which had taken place on 13th December 2019. The meeting also considered other trade and trade-related matters directly associated with the processes of the AfCFTA. In attendance were delegates from Algeria, Angola, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Egypt, Ethiopia, Eswatini, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Libya, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Saharawi Republic, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sudan, United Republic of Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Other attendees included officials from the African Union Commission (AUC), RECs, AUC’s Strategic Partners; the African Development Bank (AfDB), and the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
