Report of the Sub-Committee on Refugees, Returnees and IDPS

Abstract

This is the report of the Permanent Representatives’ Committee (PRC) Sub-Committee on Refugees, Returnees and Displaced Persons on activities carried out in 2019 according to the approved work plan. The activities were mainly humanitarian assessment missions and assistance to Member States that experienced population displacements as a result of natural and/or man-made disasters. Among the notable ones was the tropical cyclone Idai in the southern African region which affected the country Mozambique the most.
