In this 3rd ministerial meeting of the countries on the Enhancement of Security Cooperation,participants reviewed the political and security situation in the region since their last meeting, held in Ndjamena, on 11 September 2013. Participants requested the Commission, in cooperation with the United Nations and other actors concerned, to set up a team of experts to map out the different threats to security in the region, with particular focus on terrorists,other armed and criminal groups operating in the region.
