The African Union (AU) convened an inaugural High Level Retreat of the AU Panel of the Wise (AUPW) where the continental body brought together its Panel of the Wise and similar regional organizations discuss challenges to the peace and security landscape in Africa and to proffer solutions aimed at forming initiatives to achieve more coordinated approaches to peace-making in Africa.
