This communique welcomes the security situation improvement in Darfur, which has created a conducive environment focusing on peacebuilding and socio-economic development activities in the region; it furthers commends the efforts deployed by the UNAMID in supporting Sudan in accordance with its authorization mandate in support the ongoing peace process between the Government of Sudan and the Sudanese armed movements.
