Report of the Administrative Secretary-General on the OAU Preparations for the UN Conference on the Law of the Sea.

Abstract

This report recall that the OAU Council of Ministers meeting in its Nineteenth Ordinary Session held in Rabat, Marocco, adopted resolution CM / Res. 289 (XIX) on the Law of the Sea and in this resolution it is recalled that the complexity of the various problems bound up with the question of the Law of the Sea requiring that OAU Members States define in a precise manner their political positions on each of the subject which will be debated in UN Conference on the Law of the Sea in the light of information which should provided to them.
