The Problem of Documentation

Abstract

In the thirteen years since the establishment of the Organization of African Unity the Secretariat has organized several meetings of the Council of the Ministers and the Assembly of Heads of State and Government as well as of several specialized bodies and subsidiary organs. Many important and historical debates have taken place and many decisions and resolutions have been passed, the records of previous meetings of these two organs are almost non-existent as these records have not been reproduced and made available to Governments on continuing basis.
