Interim Report of the Ad Hoc Committee for the Structural Reform of the OAU

Abstract

Interim report of the Ad Hoc committee on conclusions for the structural reform of the OAU after studies done, it is hoped, it will include all the proposals for the effective structural reforms and bearing in mind the need to evolve on the objectives of the charter on the functions and regulations of the General Secretariat. The Ad Hoc Committee's terms of reference are embodied in Resolution CM/Res. 386 (XXIV) The General Secretariat of the Organization also fully participated in the Ad Hoc Committee meetings on the structural reform of the OAU and represented at the level of the Administrative Secretary-General or Assistant.
